Brad Skistamas (Five Times August)

Brad Skistamas performs under the name Five Times August. Started the project in 2001 at age 18. Featured in Billboard, People, USA Today. First unsigned act to have an album distributed in Walmart stores nationwide (2007's The Independent). In early 2021, began releasing COVID-era protest songs — Sad Little Man reached #1 on Amazon and Apple charts. Silent War album (2022) peaked at #5 on Amazon alongside Taylor Swift and Bruce Springsteen. Signed with Based Records in 2023. Father of three, unschooled as a child, lives in Texas.
