Topher Gardner

Topher Gardner is the founder of Black Gold Biochar and Coral Domes, both rooted in his lifelong work of building resilience through appropriate technology. A former Division I football kicker at Michigan State, he traded competitive athletics for the yogic path, eventually serving as operations director of an ashram in southern India before relocating to Costa Rica for two decades of regenerative agriculture, dome building, and food sovereignty work. He is the host of the Biocharisma podcast. He now operates out of the Missouri Ozarks, where Black Gold Biochar is scaling its agricultural, animal, and water-filtration applications.
