Rinat Strahlhofer 5G, Big Tech and the Surveillance State: Problems and Solutions
Rinat Strahlhofer spent the early 2000s marketing Australia's biggest 3G rollout — $1 billion budget, 5,000 new towers, glossy campaigns designed to make sci-fi feel inevitable. Then her husband said the router was affecting his sleep. She went digging. What she found ended her corporate career and started a nine-year reckoning that led her back to Byron Bay with a simple question: why are mobile phones tested on a plastic dummy with no biological organs?
The answer unlocked the rest. Not just the fraudulent safety standard. Not just the 2000+ peer-reviewed studies insurers won't touch. The entire architecture — addiction by design, 5G as surveillance grid, nanotechnology rewriting DNA reception, the spatial web laying internet on the land, and the 2050 moonshot to get humans out of their bodies entirely.
Rinat doesn't come with doom. She comes with the Mullumbimby moratorium story — the one where hundreds of people took the streets at 8am and the technicians never came back. She comes with The Guy Code film, with safe tech protocols, with the reminder that your hands are built for creation, not constant device-handling. And she closes where every real conversation about sovereignty has to land: you don't need to fight for freedom you already have. You need to stop asking permission and start exercising it.
- The plastic dummy test Mobile phones since the mid-90s are tested on a plastic mannequin named SAM — no biological organs, no bones, no DNA, no reproductive system. Filled with liquid, tested for whether it heats by more than 1°C after a six-minute call with the phone 10mm from the ear. One device tested in one lab of the manufacturer's choice. Millions sold. This is still the standard. The dummy represents only 3% of the world's population — the top 10% of military recruits. Children absorb 150% more radiation than SAM. No safety test exists for children, women, or the elderly.
- Engineered for addiction, designed for surveillance The fraudulent test wasn't an oversight. It was the point. Get the devices into hands. Make them indispensable. Build addiction. Once people can't put them down, surveillance becomes acceptable. 5G is not an upgrade — it's an additional layer. 3G, 4G, 5G all coexist. 5G is directional beam-forming, not circular broadcast. It's a grid. The Internet of Things requires microchips in everything — your fridge, your dog collar, your baby's nappy. No privacy. Total interconnection.
- 2000+ peer-reviewed reports — insurers won't touch it Swiss Re and Lloyd's of London deem the wireless industry high risk and will not insure it. Over 2000 peer-reviewed studies show biological harm: blood-brain barrier damage, disrupted brain cell communication, DNA breaks, cardiac changes, fertility issues, immune disruption, short-term memory loss, headaches, dizziness, fatigue. The industry pivots to cancer as the bar — if you don't have cancer, you're told it's safe. Most damage is sub-clinical and cumulative.
- DNA as antenna — nanotechnology and the smart grid DNA is a receiver and transmitter of information. Nanotechnology in the mRNA injections rewires the antenna nature of DNA so it picks up only frequencies the smart grid wants you to receive. Not expanded consciousness. Not nature. Cloud-based transmission and reception. The agenda is controlling what information your DNA can access — and therefore controlling perception at the most fundamental level.
- The six-layer surveillance playbook Layer 1: Capture scientists, agencies, politicians, media. Layer 2: Rush 5G installations under COVID-19 management. Layer 3: Normalize lockdowns and surveillance. Layer 4: Collect DNA samples via PCR tests. Layer 5: Deploy smart dust (nanosensors smaller than sand grains) via injection — hook the population to the Internet of Bodies. Layer 6: Remote control via AI. No thought or action unmonitored. No prison system required when you live inside one.
- Spatial Web 3.0 — internet on the land The internet coming out of screens and phones and laying on the ground. Sensors in paint, pavement, building materials. Everything smarted up. The real world becomes a permissioned access environment. QR codes and vaccine passports are baby steps. Imagine interfacing with a door, a building, a payment system — denied or granted access digitally via token in real time. The moonshot project: by 2050, humans exist outside the need for a physical mind, body, time, and space.
- Mullumbimby moratorium — the power of collective Byron Shire became Australia's first 5G moratorium. Unanimous council vote. Telstra technicians showed up weeks later with 5G equipment anyway. One activist had a vision in meditation, drove to the tower. Hundreds took the streets at 8am. Technicians left. Still the only tower in Byron Shire not upgraded. The power of tuned-in, embodied community standing in the gap.
- Empowerment over fighting for freedom Why are people fighting for something they already have? You are free. Exercise freedom. The biggest issue isn't the jab or the tower — it's inner disempowerment. Radical responsibility means recognizing you don't need the system to babysit you. Creation is the antithesis of artificial control. Touch soil. Build with your hands. Your hands are designed for creation, not tech-handling. The apocalypse optimist sees both the darkness and the goodwill — holds zero point.
