Joel Schafer

Joel Schafer trains people in the Toltec knowledge base — magical passes, recapitulation, and dreaming gates — drawn from the lineage that ran through Carlos Castaneda and his cohort. He entered the work at sixteen with a shaman in the Pacific Northwest and has spent the three decades since living, teaching, and refining a practice for reclaiming attention from what the Toltecs call the predator mind. He teaches online courses, leads in-person workshops, and mentors students one-on-one out of Los Angeles.
