Ralph Ellis Secrets of the Great Pyramid

This is not alternative history for its own sake. This is the problem of information that shouldn't exist — lines of latitude on the South Sandwich Islands encoded at Avebury, the exact tilt of the earth carved into a henge in Wiltshire, a pyramid in the Himalayas positioned by pi-distance from the Giza Plateau. Either a previous technical civilisation we've found no trace of, or an intervention from elsewhere that left megalithic maps and moved on. Ralph lays out the evidence and lets you decide which explanation makes the data fit.
- Not tombs No mummy has ever been found in a pyramid. No pharaoh in his right mind would be buried in a bare tomb — no inscriptions, no Book of the Dead, none of the standard accoutrements. The Great Pyramid and its kin are cathedrals to the cosmos, not burial chambers.
- Pi pyramid The Great Pyramid is a 40-times copy of pi. Base circumference: 1760 cubits (one imperial mile, half a nautical mile). Height: 280 cubits. The formula 2πr generates the exact dimensions. They encoded the formula for a circle in megalithic stone.
- Pythagorean centuries before Pythagoras The second pyramid is a 3-4-5 triangle. The Red Pyramid at Dahshur is a 20-21-29 triangle — dimensions 200 by 210 by 290 cubits. The Bent Pyramid has a miniature 20-21-29 copy sitting on top when divided by 5.5 (the rod, quarter-pi base unit). They knew Pythagorean theorems thousands of years before Pythagoras.
- Mount Sinai = Great Pyramid The tallest mountain in the region. On the edge of a desert. Small enough to cordon off. Sharp and difficult to climb. A cave inside. Black basalt pavement at the base that looks like the night sky. Strabo's first-century description matches the Great Pyramid exactly. The Israelites didn't lose Mount Sinai — they just stopped saying its name.
- The shafts encode latitude & longitude Not air shafts — the Queen's chamber shafts were never cut through. Not star shafts — Orion and Sirius don't align simultaneously, and the northern shafts point at nothing. The angles are pi-based (39.5°, 45°, 32.5° — differences of 7° and 5.5°, quarter-pi). They're coordinates. Draw them from Giza on a map and you get a pi-triangle pointing directly at K2.
- K2 as man-made pyramid Square base. Aligned with cardinal points. Pure white (above snow line). 14-degree causeway from base — same as Giza. At the centre of the pi-triangle drawn by the Great Pyramid's shaft angles. Either K2 was carved to match Giza's coordinates, or Giza was positioned to encode K2's location. Distance and angle between them determined by pi.
- Chambers as continents Turn the Great Pyramid cross-section upside down: grand gallery = Asia, antechamber = Arabias, King's Chamber = Africa. The strange flat ceilings above the King's Chamber — which serve no structural purpose — align precisely with lines of latitude across Africa when inverted. Avebury encodes the earth's form and tilt. Giza encodes the continents.
- 66,000 years ago Processional dating from the second pyramid causeway (14° off due east, pointing one month from spring equinox) gives 12,500 BC for the age of Leo. But obliquity dating from Avebury (22.5° tilt, not current 23.4°) gives three possible dates: 24,000 / 34,000 / 66,000 years ago. Only 66,000 syncs Giza, Avebury, and Stonehenge into one megalithic era.
