Mike Winner

Mike Winner is the founder of WINNR Digital, an agency helping entrepreneurs, creators and organizations reclaim digital sovereignty through open-source infrastructure, decentralized hosting and local AI. He is a co-founder of Qortal, a decentralized alternative internet with no corporation behind it, and a co-founder of Music & Sky, which has become known as one of the top health, freedom, art and music festivals in the United States. Before this chapter he spent a decade as a professional DJ, playing Los Angeles clubs four and five nights a week, and holds a degree in Film Studies and History from the University of California. He now lives rurally in Northern California, five hours from the nearest city, where he surfs, raises two sons, and builds the infrastructure he wants his community to own.
